The Hartselle Tigers (Hartselle, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL), 55-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Mountain Brook went down by Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL), 65-37, in a non-league test.
The Black Bears now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hewitt-Trussville for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Austin will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 70-46 non-league win over Southside (Gadsden, AL). The Huskies record now stands at 9-3.
