California High School Basketball - Pierce holds off Central Valley

December 6, 2022: Shasta Lake, CA 96019

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA) and the host Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), saw Pierce's basketball squad hold off Central Valley by a tally of 59-58.

With the victory, Pierce improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Bears host Amador (Sutter Creek, CA) to confront the Buffaloes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 8. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Amador won 46-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Florin (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Falcons confront the Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 8. Central Valley will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 42-11 non-league loss to Las Plumas (Oroville, CA).
