Greeneville Green Devils (Greeneville, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Claiborne Bulldogs (New Tazewell, TN), 59-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Greeneville upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Green Devils travel to Alcoa (Alcoa, TN) to clash with the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Alcoa won 49-38 in their recent non-league bout against Seymour (Seymour, TN)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Cherokee Chiefs (Rogersville, TN) in a 3A District 2 bout, on Friday, December 9. Claiborne will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 73-52 league loss to Cocke County (Newport, TN).
