Kentucky High School Basketball - Monroe County can't hold off Clinton County

The Clinton County Bulldogs basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Monroe County Falcons to 44 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Metcalfe County for a District 16 contest on Friday, December 9. Clinton County will battle a Hornets team coming off a 52-44 league win over Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 3-0.
The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Cumberland County was nudged by Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY), 52-44, in a league contest.
