The Cross County Thunderbirds basketball team (Cherry Valley, AR), was routed 46-21 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Rector Cougars (Rector, AR)
The Cougars now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside for a 2A Region 3 battle on Thursday, December 8. Rector will battle a Rebels team coming off a 67-38 league win over Bay (Bay, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 8-4.
The Thunderbirds (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Bay (Bay, AR). The Yellowjackets come into the 2A Region 3 battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Bay was routed by Riverside (Lake City, AR), 67-38, in a league battle.
