The Drew Central Pirates (Monticello, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Smackover Buckaroos (Smackover, AR), 58-13 in Tuesday's league test.
The Pirates (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Harmony Grove (Camden, AR). The Hornets go into the 3A Region 8 test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Harmony Grove walloped Dollarway (Pine Bluff, AR), 56-23, in a league test.
The Buckaroos now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bearden for a non-league test on Thursday, December 8. Smackover will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 42-38 league loss to Nevada (Rosston, AR). The Bears record now stands at 4-2.
