Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV), 46-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Reed upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Raiders host Douglas (Minden, NV) to play the Tigers in a 5A Northern bout on Thursday, December 15. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Grizzlies play the North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Galena will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
