In Tuesday's league outing, the West Hancock Eagles (Britt, IA) basketball squad beat the visiting Garner-Hayfield/Ventura Cardinals (Garner, IA), by a margin of 46-34.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA). The Bulldogs go into the North Iowa outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Lake Mills was topped by Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA), 73-39, in a non-league outing.

The Cardinals now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Eagle Grove for a North Central outing on Tuesday, February 7.
