Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hughes Springs Mustangs (Hughes Springs, TX), 38-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Queen City upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Atlanta (Atlanta, TX) to play the Rabbits in a 3A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Rabbits go into the bout with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Mustangs play the East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers (Longview, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Hughes Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 49-17 non-league win over Regents Academy (Nacogdoches, TX).
