The Southwestern Spartans basketball team (Shelbyville, IN), was nudged 35-34 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Knightstown Panthers (Knightstown, IN)
The Panthers now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blue River Valley for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 8. Knightstown will battle a Vikings team coming off a 51-14 league win over Wes-Del (Gaston, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 6-2.
The Spartans (0-9) will now prepare for their battle against Triton Central (Fairland, IN). The Tigers come into the non-league bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Triton Central held off Waldron (Waldron, IN), 61-25, in a non-league bout.
