In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Sumter Fighting Gamecocks (Sumter, SC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC), by a count of 71-39.
The Fighting Gamecocks (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lexington (Lexington, SC). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Lexington crushed Hammond (Columbia, SC), 75-37, in a non-league match.
