Mississippi High School Basketball - Laurel thwarts Northeast Jones

The Laurel Golden Tornadoes (Laurel, MS) basketball knocked off the visiting Northeast Jones Tigers (Laurel, MS), 45-33 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Golden Tornadoes (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Heidelberg (Heidelberg, MS). The Oilers go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Heidelberg notched a victory over Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS), 56-39, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host West Jones for a non-league test on Thursday, December 15.
