The Wartburg Central Bulldogs basketball team (Wartburg, TN), was toppled 48-28 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Midway Green Wave (Kingston, TN)
The Green Wave now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakdale for a 1A District 4 battle on Friday, December 9. Midway will confront a Eagles team coming off a 62-25 non-league loss to Oneida (Oneida, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Oliver Springs (Oliver Springs, TN). The Bobcats come into the 1A District 3 battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Oliver Springs was toppled by Harriman (Harriman, TN), 40-24, in a non-league battle.
