The Montevideo Thunderhawks basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Minnewaska Area Lakers to 47 in the Thunderhawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Thunderhawks now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sauk Centre for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13.

The Lakers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sauk Centre (Sauk Centre, MN). The Mainstreeters come into the AA Section 6 contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Sauk Centre edged West Central Area (Barrett, MN), 66-49, in a non-league contest.
