Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southwest Valley (Corning, IA), 70-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nodaway Valley upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Wayne (Corydon, IA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Wayne won 51-38 in their recent league bout against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA)

Next up, the clash with the Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils (Martensdale, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. Southwest Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 69-21 non-league win over East Union (Afton, IA).
