In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Roane County Yellowjackets (Kingston, TN) basketball squad beat the host Scott Highlanders (Huntsville, TN), by a count of 62-42.

The Yellowjackets (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TN). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Sweetwater defeated Sequoyah (Madisonville, TN), 48-13, in a non-league outing.

The Highlanders now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Anderson County for a 3A District 4 outing on Friday, December 9. Scott will clash with a Mavericks squad coming off a 37-29 non-league loss to Gibbs (Corryton, TN). The Mavericks record now stands at 0-3.
