Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Rome Wolves (Rome, GA), 48-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Woodstock upgrades its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Etowah (Woodstock, GA) to play the Eagles in a AAAAAA Region 6 bout on Friday, December 9. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Etowah lost 43-38 in their recent non-league bout against Cherokee (Canton, GA)

Next up, the Wolves play the Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 6 bout, on Friday, December 9. Rome will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 55-30 league loss to Creekview (Canton, GA).
