The Clayton Comets basketball team (Clayton, NC), was routed 59-15 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC)
The Crusaders now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Durham Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 8. Cardinal Gibbons will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 43-30 league win over North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-0.
The Comets (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record.
