Virginia High School Basketball - Madison County can't hold off Culpeper County

The Culpeper County Blue Devils basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Madison County Mountaineers to 34 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fauquier for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8.

The Mountaineers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, William Monroe was nudged by Goochland (Goochland, VA), 18-10, in a non-league contest.
