With the victory, Carver College and Career Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The travel to Armstrong (Richmond, VA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Dukes play the Nottoway Cougars (Nottoway, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Cumberland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 46-37 non-league loss to Greensville County (Emporia, VA).
