The Fort Chiswell Pioneers basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Rural Retreat Indians to 20 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Pioneers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host George Wythe for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Fort Chiswell will battle a Maroons team coming off a 62-18 non-league win over Northwood (Saltville, VA). The Maroons record now stands at 1-0.

The Indians (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
