Florida High School Basketball - Williston can't hold off Gainesville

The Gainesville Hurricanes basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Williston Red Devils to 51 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hurricanes now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vanguard for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Gainesville will battle a Knights team coming off a 55-40 league win over Dunnellon (Dunnellon, FL). The Knights record now stands at 3-0.
The Red Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Freedom (Tampa, FL). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Freedom was nudged by Robinson (Tampa, FL), 60-39, in a league contest.
