The Straughn Tigers basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Georgiana Panthers to 28 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Florala for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. Straughn will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 52-22 non-league loss to Opp (Opp, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Highland Home (Highland Home, AL). The Flying Squadron enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
