North Carolina High School Basketball - Kings Mountain thwarts R-S Central

The Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) basketball knocked off the host R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), 44-32 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Mountaineers (2-0) will now prepare for their test against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record.

The Hilltoppers now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Burns for a non-league test on Thursday, December 8. R-S Central will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 54-35 non-league win over East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
