Virginia High School Basketball - Westover Christian Academy ripped by New Covenant

The New Covenant Gryphons basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs to 30 in the Gryphons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Gryphons now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. New Covenant will battle a Ospreys team coming off a 55-12 league win over Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA). The Ospreys record now stands at 1-0.
The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lynchburg HomeSchool (Lynchburg, VA). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Lynchburg HomeSchool triumphed over Faith Christian Academy (Hurt, VA), 46-12, in a non-league contest.
