The Taft Wildcats basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Tehachapi Warriors to 37 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedy for a contest on Tuesday, January 3. Taft will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 35-26 non-league loss to Reedley (Reedley, CA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-1.
The Warriors (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Palmdale (Palmdale, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record.
