Marco Island Academy Rays (Marco Island, FL) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting First Baptist Academy Lions (Naples, FL), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rays face the Gateway Charter Griffins (Fort Myers, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 12. Marco Island Academy will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Griffins enter the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 11-0 non-league loss to Golden Gate (Naples, FL).

The Lions now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seacrest Country Day for a 2A D12 challenge on Thursday, December 15.
