Virginia High School Basketball - Altavista can't hold off Rustburg

The Rustburg Red Devils basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Altavista Colonels to 64 in the Red Devils non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Red Devils now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookville for a Seminole contest on Friday, December 8. Rustburg will battle a Bees team coming off a 36-29 non-league loss to Gretna (Gretna, VA). The Bees record now stands at 0-3.

The Colonels (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against William Campbell (Naruna, VA). The Generals come into the Dogwood contest with a 0-3 record.
