The San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) basketball crushed the host Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA), 69-27 in Wednesday's league test.
The Pirates (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Narbonne (Harbor City, CA). The Gauchos go into the Marine test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Narbonne walloped Carson (Carson, CA), 59-49, in a league test.
The Pilots now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Rancho Dominguez for a Marine test on Monday, December 11. Banning will encounter a Lobos squad coming off a 65-37 non-league loss to La Mirada (La Mirada, CA). The Lobos record now stands at 1-7.
