North Carolina High School Basketball - Father Capodanno tipped by Thomas Academy

The Thomas Academy Eagles basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Father Capodanno Grunts to 50 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Star Christian Academy for a Freelance contest on Tuesday, December 12. Thomas Academy will meet a Golden Tigers team coming off a 63-31 league loss to LifeSpring Academy (Clayton, NC). The Golden Tigers record now stands at 0-1.

The Grunts (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against St. Thomas More Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Chancellors enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, St. Thomas More Academy nudged American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC), 42-38, in a non-league contest.
