The Garden Valley Wolverines basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Horseshoe Bend Mustangs to 53 in the Wolverines league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilder for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Garden Valley will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 65-13 non-league loss to Cascade (Cascade, ID). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.

The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Salmon River (Riggins, ID). The Savages enter the 1A II Long Pin contest with a 0-0 record.
