The Hartford Central Tanagers (Hartford, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Schroon Lake Wildcats (Schroon Lake, NY), 51-48 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Tanagers (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Fort Edward (Fort Edward, NY). The Flying Forts go into the Section 2 Adirondack test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Fort Edward was tipped by Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY), 47-41, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Seton Catholic Central for a Section 7 Mountain Valley test on Tuesday, December 12.
