Van Nuys Wolves (Van Nuys, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA), 51-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Van Nuys upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Bernstein (Hollywood, CA) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 10-0. Bernstein won 79-28 in their recent non-league bout against Garey (Pomona, CA)

Next up, the Tigers play the East Valley Falcons (North Hollywood, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. San Fernando will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 70-64 non-league win over Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA).
