Loachapoka Indians (Loachapoka, AL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Beulah Bobcats (Valley, AL), 59-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Loachapoka upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Billingsley (Billingsley, AL) to play the Bears in a 1A Area 7 bout on Thursday, December 7. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Billingsley lost 46-24 in their recent non-league bout against Holtville (Deatsville, AL)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Horseshoe Bend Generals (New Site, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Beulah will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Generals come into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 53-40 non-league win over Woodland (Woodland, AL).
