    • Ohio High School Basketball - Lake over Boardman

    December 6, 2023: Youngstown, OH 44512

    Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Lake Blue Streaks (Uniontown, OH) and the host Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), saw Lake's basketball squad overcome Boardman by a tally of 68-50.

    With the victory, Lake improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Blue Streaks travel to Perry (Massillon, OH) to confront the Panthers in a Federal challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Perry won 43-34 in their recent league challenge against Hoover (North Canton, OH)

    Next up, the Spartans confront the Poland Seminary Bulldogs (Poland, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Boardman will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 42-41 non-league win over Springfield (New Middletown, OH).
