The East Davidson Golden Eagles basketball team (Thomasville, NC), was overwhelmed 64-30 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC)
The Cougars now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Davidson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Southwestern Randolph will confront a Black Knights team coming off a 48-40 non-league win over Wheatmore (Trinity, NC). The Black Knights record now stands at 4-3.
The Golden Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Ledford trounced West Davidson (Lexington, NC), 33-24, in a non-league battle.
