The Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish (Kalamazoo, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Parchment Panthers (Parchment, MI), 39-23 in Wednesday's league test.

The Fighting Irish (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Glen Lake (Maple City, MI). The Lakers go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Glen Lake notched a victory over Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI), 35-33, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Black River for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Parchment will encounter a Rats squad coming off a 40-27 league loss to Martin (Martin, MI). The Rats record now stands at 0-1.
