In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC), by a margin of 47-6.
The Trojans (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Westover (Fayetteville, NC). The Wolverines go into the 3A/4A All-American outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Westover smashed Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC), 51-25, in a league outing.
The Spartans now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Johnston for a non-league outing on Friday, December 8. Smithfield-Selma will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 51-11 non-league win over Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 4-0.
