Southside Panthers (Selma, AL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hatch Bobcats (Uniontown, AL), 45-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southside upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Dallas County (Plantersville, AL) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Dallas County lost 52-39 in their recent non-league bout against Autaugaville (Autaugaville, AL)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Calhoun Tigers (Letohatchee, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Hatch will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 53-26 non-league loss to Marion (Marion, AL).
