Phelps Hornets (Phelps, KY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Jenkins Cavaliers (Jenkins, KY), 68-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Phelps upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY) to play the Hawks in a District 60 bout on Friday, December 8. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Cordia Lions (Hazard, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Jenkins will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
