Southlands Christian Eagles (Rowland Heights, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Magnolia Science Academy Pirates (Santa Ana, CA), 51-14 in a league bout.

With the win, Southlands Christian upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Vista Meridian (Santa Ana, CA) to clash with the Meridian Eagles in a Express bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Meridian Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Vista Meridian lost 49-4 in their recent league bout against Samueli Academy (Santa Ana, CA)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Bassett Olympians (La Puente, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Magnolia Science Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Olympians go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 30-5 non-league loss to Baldwin Park (Baldwin Park, CA).
