Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Mountain View Generals (Quicksburg, VA) and the visiting Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA), saw Mountain View's basketball squad hold off Riverheads by a count of 37-32.

With the victory, Mountain View upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA) to play the Bison in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Bison come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Buffalo Gap won 24-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA)

Next up, the Gladiators play the Central Woodstock Falcons (Woodstock, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Riverheads will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
