In their next game, the Maroon Tide face the Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 8. Galax will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 57-15 non-league loss to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA).

The Trojans (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Grayson County was nudged by Carroll County (Hillsville, VA), 33-17, in a non-league battle.
