Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Chula Vista Spartans (Chula Vista, CA), 47-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Otay Ranch upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Sweetwater (National City, CA) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Sweetwater lost 53-33 in their recent non-league bout against Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Mission Bay Buccaneers (San Diego, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 7. Chula Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 77-46 non-league win over Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA).
