Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hamilton Yankees (Los Angeles, CA), 45-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Westchester upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Unicorns in a bout on Friday, December 8. The Unicorns come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Los Angeles CES lost 69-38 in their recent league bout against Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Yankees play the Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Hamilton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
