The Huntingtown Hurricanes basketball team (Huntingtown, MD), was nudged 43-39 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD)

The Panthers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lackey for a non-league battle on Friday, December 8. Patuxent will confront a Chargers team coming off a 71-39 non-league loss to McDonough (Pomfret, MD). The Chargers record now stands at 0-1.

The Hurricanes (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Calvert edged Northern (Owings, MD), 42-40, in a non-league battle.
