Virginia High School Basketball - Staunton River edges Jefferson Forest

The Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA), 38-32 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Golden Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Blue Demons go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Christiansburg was tipped by Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA), 67-20, in a non-league test.
