In Friday's league contest, the visiting Unioto Shermans basketball team scored a big 62-25 triumph over the Adena Warriors.

The Shermans (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH). The Panthers go into the Scioto Valley contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Southeastern smashed Huntington (Chillicothe, OH), 52-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH) in a Scioto Valley contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Adena will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Pioneers go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 56-34 non-league win over Waverly (Waverly, OH).
