The Bears (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against La Marque (La Marque, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 9-0 record. In their last contest, La Marque edged Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX), 72-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 7. Buna will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 53-43 non-league win over Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX).
