The Cass Colonels basketball team scored 92 points and limited the host Southeast Whitfield County Raiders to 31 in the Colonels league triumph on Friday.

The Colonels now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Cartersville for a AAAA Region 7 game on Tuesday, December 10. Cass will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 63-43 non-league loss to New Manchester (Douglasville, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Southeast Whitfield County falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Raiders host Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA) to confront the Bruins in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Bruins go into the game with a record of 3-0. Northwest Whitfield won 61-54 in their recent non-league game against Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts (Chattanooga, TN)
